Quiet Qurl 65/075 N MT is a nominal 0.75-inch sound control mat made from a random-filament, geometric patterned core laminated to a breathable membrane, that is designed to limit impact noise between floors. On the other side of the fabric is the performance enhancing MT high loft fabric. The MT fabric has the ability to add 5 to 7 IIC points to a mat’s performance through diffusion of air pressure in the cavity.
The product is designed for retrofit of existing buildings in which a ceiling assembly is not utilized. In critical areas of new or retrofit construction, 65/075 N MT will provide the highest level of noise performance available on the market in any entangled net product.
Quiet Qurl 65/075 N MT is manufactured with a liquid moisture resistant fabric. With lightweight concrete and gypsum concrete underlayments, fine particles and liquid moisture are prevented from passing through to the substrate without creating a vapor barrier inside the floor/ceiling assembly – an essential quality for wood frame construction.
