Keene Building Products is proud to announce the new developments to our Driwall™ Rainscreen products.
These improvements involve changes to the fabric that is used in all of our Driwall™ Rainscreen products. Production with this new fabric will begin with our 10 mm and 075 and will continue on through the rest of the products as we move through all inventory with the previous fabric.
The new fabric is different in two fundamental ways:
- Unlike the spun bond polypropylene fabric previously used, we are now adapting a point bonded fabric made from polyester. This new fabric has a higher melting point, which helps to ensure a better bond to the entangled net with fewer defects.
- In addition to the changes in fabric construction and composition, the color of the print has changed from orange to white.
Since the new polyester fabric has a higher melting point, our NFPA 285 fire rating will not be affected.

Driwall™ Rainscreen products provide a drainage mat for exterior wall systems. The entangled net product eliminates incidental moisture problems in most exterior veneer applications, including stucco, manufactured stone, and plank siding.
