It could get loud in here! This presentation will examine the many ways of solving the sound dilemma in multi-family environments. This presentation will identify noise types, examining how noise is measured and expanding on how to build and design consciously for noise control. You will learn to identify the most common acoustical systems for quiet living, in addition to comparing the performance of various building materials needed to reach certain classification standard. This presentation will conclude by establishing the benefits of living in noise-free environments.
